Pilar de la Horadada has a coastline that is more than 4 kilometers long with very different nature with 10 different beaches to choose from. Here are the broad beaches of fine white sand in sharp contrast to the blue sea and small rocky ledges jutting out into the sea with small and intimate hidden caves in the golden sand.

The sea here is quiet with little waves. The beaches are safe and shallow without steep slopes so that even the smallest children swim safely.

Beaches have clear water and good visibility inviting divers to observe the diversity of life along the sandy sea bed, which is interspersed with occasional stones where Posidonia (Mediterranean weed), a plant that need clean, transparent and well oxygenated water to grow and serve keeping at the seabed and prevent erosion and protect beaches from strong waves. In addition, this is one popular place to live for many fish and shellfish species.

The purity of the beaches Pilar de la Horadada has got one of the few blue flag of the European Union, which provides a guarantee for healthy environment. In addition, they offer a wide range of facilities and good accessibility for the disabled.

The long and fine white sand dunes are covered with plants that bloom in spring, in high contrast with the SMALL strafing and intimate bays that exist in Torre de la Horadada.

Do not forget to visit these at dawn or dusk ... they are quite a sight!

Pilar de Horadada offers pretty much everything of fasaliteter. From here it is close to everything as shopping, golf, highway, airport and many nearby villages and large cities.
